Lampton Made Great Improvement in State API Score!
API scores have been released from the California Department of Eductation. Lampton was asked to increase our API score by 5 points from a base API of 764. We are proud to say that we grew 35 points and earned and API score of 799. The State target API is 800. We got oh so close!! This is the result of all the hard work by our students, teachers and parents during our State Testing last May! Bravo!
Our growth of 35 API points is 7 times more than the 5 points asked of us. This is also the second highest inprovement in the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District! Great Job, Everyone!
Each of our significant subgroups also exceeded their growth targets as noted below:
Hispanic Latino Students 39 points growth (API = 795)
