on information that student uniforms help to create a positive
learning climate, contribute to safe schools and encourage higher
standards of excellence for students in the areas of achievement and
behavior, and at the request of many parents, classified staff,
teachers, and administration, the Board of Education of the
Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District has approved MANDATORY
uniforms for all students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
Our
district wide school uniform will consist of dark navy blue bottoms
and plain white tops.
